Christmas 2010
Here are a few pictures from the Nelson side of Hobbs's Christmas. We had a great time there and it's so sad once it's over. :(

Hobbs love Grandma's musical Christmas ornaments. He has one that he likes to get out every time we visit, no matter what time of year it is. Christmas was a ton of fun for him because he had the opportunity to check out all of the musical ornaments at one time!

One of his favorite ornaments

Making Christmas sugar cookies is a tradition. Hobbs joined in this year by helping with sprinkles.

Grandma shows him how...

Sampling some sprinkles...just to make sure they are good enough for the cookies. :) Check out the amount of sprinkles on the cookies...yikes!

He was very serious about his work.

The finished product...yum!

Somebody hit the jackpot on Christmas presents!

Mommy & Hobbs

Super excited for Santa to come. Of course we left Santa a sugar cookie made by Hobbs. Santa must have liked it because it was all gone! :)
I'm terrible and didn't take any pictures Christmas morning. Hobbs had been asking for Buzz and Woody and he was so excited to see that Santa left him what he wanted. I've never seen him play with a toy as much as he has played with Buzz Lightyear!

What's Hobbs Been Up To?
I've been awful about blogging lately. There hasn't been anything huge happening lately, but here are a few pictures of some things Hobbs has been up to :

Finding a way to use all of his leftover Halloween stickers at once

Enjoying a new art kit

Being silly in his new big boy bed

Multi-tasking???? :)

Gingerbread house (He wouldn't let me get any pictures with him in them)

It's Been A While!
Okay, so I have not updated here for over a month! Oops! Well, we are still here, but we've been busy. Between a big move, craziness at school, Thanksgiving, and just everyday stuff, this has been at the very bottom of my list. I haven't even taken pictures lately, so hopefully things will settle down now. My parents and Lyndsay came up to check out the new place this weekend. I had to put a new picture on of Hobbs and Lyndsay (or as he says, his best friend). :) He moved into a big boy bed today, so we'll see what the night brings. Hopefully there will be more updates soon! Hang in there...I promise I'll get back on top of this! :)

Happy Halloween!
Beware the scary T-Rex! :)

Waiting for Trick-or-Treaters...he did a GREAT job passing out the candy to all the kids that came by! :) I was a little worried he wouldn't want to share the candy we bought, but he liked seeing all the boys and girls. He didn't give candy to the scary kids though...most of them took off their masks though, and then he was okay with them getting their treat. :)

Fun Weekend
Hobbs and I went to Rose Hill this weekend. Hobbs had a ton of fun with Grandma and Grandpa and Lyndsay. He rode is "orange", as he calls it, and went to the pond with Grandpa to see frogs and tadpoles. He and Grandma baked some cookies together. And he finally got a haircut! It was a good weekend! Now he's ready to be a trick-or-treating T-Rex tonight. :)
