Happy Halloween!

Beware the scary T-Rex! :)

Waiting for Trick-or-Treaters...he did a GREAT job passing out the candy to all the kids that came by! :) I was a little worried he wouldn't want to share the candy we bought, but he liked seeing all the boys and girls. He didn't give candy to the scary kids though...most of them took off their masks though, and then he was okay with them getting their treat. :)

Fun Weekend

Hobbs and I went to Rose Hill this weekend. Hobbs had a ton of fun with Grandma and Grandpa and Lyndsay. He rode is "orange", as he calls it, and went to the pond with Grandpa to see frogs and tadpoles. He and Grandma baked some cookies together. And he finally got a haircut! It was a good weekend! Now he's ready to be a trick-or-treating T-Rex tonight. :)

Big Birthday Boy

Happy 3rd birthday to Hobbs! He loves cars and wanted a car theme, so I tried to get a little creative and come up with something fun. The kids thought the chip truck was pretty neat.

I made homemade buttercream...okay, I admit it, I'm very proud of these cupcakes. :) They were pretty...and tastey too! :)

Make a wish...

A wink and thumbs up...must mean it's good stuff. :)

Spoiled much? :)

A Visit to the Pumpkin Farm

For years, I've wanted to visit the pumpkin patch. I decided this was the year. There's an awesome pumpkin farm between here and Clay Center. I didn't know what to expect, but it was great. There was so much to do and the weather was really nice. We were there for 2 and a half hours and I had to carry Hobbs to the car screaming because he wasn't ready to leave. I was glad he had so much fun though. :)

The cutest scarecrow I've ever seen...

Checking out the pumpkins...I had to tell him not to step on them.

On an I-Spy scavenger hunt

In a bunch of corn...it was everywhere when we got home!

His favorite part of the whole farm...he spent most of his time here. Why, I don't know...it really wasn't that interesting. I guess it was just his size though. :)

There were a lot of animals. Goats...

Chickens...

Llamas...

And his favorite, bunnies.

He was a little too small to go run around on top of the hay bales...maybe next year.

A happy guy on the hayrack ride. He was ecstatic when we saw a bunch of cows in the pasture. :)
