Hobbs and Water

Hobbs is such a little water bug. Ever since it got nice out, he's been asking to "fweeming" (swimming) even though we tell him it's too cold. Yesterday, he spotted Brandt filling up Charlie's pool that she uses to drink from and cool down in. Yikes. :)


Coming out of the garage, he spotted the running water.


He was super excited. He didn't like hearing me tell him to leave it alone because it was still too cold outside.


So, he tried pleading his case. Notice how big and cute he can make his eyes when attempting to get his way. :)

In the end, Mommy won, but you can see that he is still trying to think of a good reason to get in that water! :)

The Backyard

While I hate this time of year with my allergies, I love how pretty everything is! Here are a few pictures of our beautiful backyard. I love it!

Cousins

Hobbs with "KennaRhett" as he calls them (McKenna and Rhett) during a recent visit... They are such cuties! :)

Rock Star

Hobbs loves his music and is always pretending to play the guitar. So, for Easter, Grandma & Grandpa gave him a guitar to play. As you can tell, it was a big hit. He didn't put it down all day! He even had to have it with him when he took his afternoon nap. He loves it! It's not Mommy & Daddy's favorite toy (a little annoying), but it's worth seeing him so happy with it. :)

Hobbs's Harley

Bupop got Hobbs this bike for his birthday. He hadn't had a chance to ride it until last week since the weather finally got nice. As you can tell, he was super excited about it. His feet can't quite reach the pedals yet, but I'm sure they will by the end of the summer. :)

Moving on to a bigger ride? :)

New Hat? :)

Hobbs thought one of my basket liners would make a great hat. Of course he "cheesed" for the camera when I took his picture. This kid... :)

Grandma & Grandpa

Grandma & Grandpa came for a visit at the end of Spring Break. I didn't get any great pictures of them with Hobbs, but here are 2 that were cute. Hobbs thought it would be fun to put a bunch of cars on the couch and lay down with Grandpa. You can't see the cars because Hobbs is laying on them (comfy!), but he thought it was a great idea. :) Hobbs took a quick break from coloring to give Grandma some loves.
