Next Up...Mountain Climbing

When it comes to climbing, Hobbs is a pro. He is so quick, and now we don't have to only worry about him on chairs, he has moved from chair to tables! He has no fear, which is so scary. We usually tell him "no-no", but I wanted to get it on video this time. Here is the little monkey in action...

Hobbs's Tricks

So, Hobbs has certain things that he will "perform" when asked. Here are some of Hobbs's "tricks". :) He wouldn't point to his nose in the video, but you can hear him say it at the beginning. Silly boy!

Yelling Competition...at Quiznos! :)

While visiting Duke & Christy during Spring-yes, I realize that was like a month ago-McKenna & Hobbs became a little restless while we were waiting for our sandwiches at Quiznos. However, they provided us some entertainment... You see how well they get along, and then some of the less-than-loving moments with pushing & hitting. Awww, to be 1 and 2 again... :)

Hobbs Signing

As some of you may know, Hobbs's babysitter that had taken care of him for a year quit to go to a different job. So, we had to find daycare for a few months (luckily we have great friends and family) until our new person could start as she was out on maternity leave. We loved our old sitter, but absolutely love our new one. Within 5 weeks she had Hobbs using sign language. Here are 2 of his signs...

Monkey

Okay, so I realize it's been a few weeks-sorry! Hopefully there are still people checking this blog! :) I promise I will get some new pictures and videos on soon! The spring is busy and already it's the middle of April. Hobbs will be 18 months old this coming Thursday, which is so crazy to believe! He is such a little monkey right now, climbing on EVERYTHING! He scares me-you leave a room for a second and when you come back he's standing on a dining room or kitchen chair or jumping on the couch. He is a constant handful! This has been a bad week because he's working on his bottom molars and it is not pleasent! Hopefully those babies will be all the popped through soon-his top ones came in first, but still have to finish breaking through. Ugh! He is constantly saying new things. Along with "ball", "go", "banana", and "no", his vocabulary now includes "where", "nose", "mom", "dad", and "all done". Tonight, I swear he was even saying "Mickey Mouse" when we were singing the Clubhouse song with his Mickey toy. Other than that, things are just busy. Brandt's baseball team is doing well (3-0...their second game last night got rained out and they were up 9-3!) so you can't ask for a better record so far. League play starts next week, so things will get even more interesting then. Well, I promise more things soon! :)
